Camber Sands

Today I went to Camber Sands which was really fun it was the first time I have been sailing since I have been home it was pretty warm compared to what it has been like but still my hands got cold on the water. I was on a 4.7 and a 75lit and pretty power up and there was some little ramps coming frow so it was good to try some tricks. It was well weird sailing on starbad tack as I haven't don that in a while so it took a while to get in to it. it was a really good to get back in the water cant wait for spring now for some good sailing and warmer.

back from cape town

Right so i have just got back from cape town yeastday I had an amazing time out there done loads of sailing and surfing. It is a really cool spot to train for the winter because you get so much wind out there so you get to sail so much and the conditions are really good fun cant wait to go back out there next year. when i got back to England it started snowing the night that i got back so the next day i got to go sledging :D which was well good but a bit weird were it was so cold hahaha. So we have had loads of sailing recently and we have had some really good surf with an ok size to it like head and a bit so it has been super fun. We had one day at sun set were it was pretty big and everyone was fully going for it the was some amazing crashes and some good swimming action hahahaha the we have had some more chilled out session there which have been really good for jumping and I have almost landed some push loops and getting my back loops more consistent and went for some one handed ones which was really good fun to try the forecast is looking pretty good now for the next week wind everyday and hopefully some swell with it as well so cant wait.

The last couple of weeks have been super windy had a couple of days on a 3.7 which has been really cool and then some big days at sun set and big bay which has been really fun. I manage to get in my local news paper back at home in Essex http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/9464447.Gayda_reckons_Cape_offers_good_hope_for_season/ it not to long now in till I am going back to England so fingers cross it will be windy and not too cold hahaha.

happy new year

So the last couple of weeks have been really good had loads of sailing and some good surfing we had one really good day at whitsands were it was pretty but really light and off shore so it was pretty hard to get on the wave but still really good fun. We have had some good sunset session and lake session aswell .I have now started going for push loops which has been pretty fun .We have now moved in to our new apartment which is really nice and has really good view of big bay which is really cool and has a really good gas BBQ which is the best thing ever.
